Fashion Week - A Fond Farewell
Wow!
I can't believe it's over.
Well, fashion is never really over. And we have a few odds and ends from Fashion Week that we'll be sharing with you in the days to come including news about the holiday collection from Banana Republic, and information from the LYCRA exhibit at the tents.
But Fashion Week is officially over.
No meltdowns or illnesses among the reporters this time I'm happy to say.
So what will I remember the most?
I'll certainly remember the Marc Jacobs marathon on Monday night. Two hours and then ...
Well, people are still talking about exactly it was they saw. Or didn't see.
I'll also remember Ralph Lauren's 40th anniversary collection. What fun. What elegance.
And I'll remember the crazy, kooky people who make Fashion Week so ... unique. You've seen some of them already in the blog. Here are some others.

I think my favorite is this shot of Lady Bunny (she of the huge fake lashes and even more huge head of hair).
Hey, you've got to admit it's not your average day in the office. As I always say, there's no business like fashion business.

A baby fashionista. You have to love little kids. When I told her she looked cute, she just nodded her head "yes." Guess she already knew she was all that and a bag of chips! Love that.

Trust me when I say the photo really doesn't do this outfit justice. You really had to be there.
