Fashion Week Celebs - Wednesday
What would Fashion Week be without celebs.
And what would Dishing on Fashion be without a look at some of the boldfaced names who have graced Fashion Week so far.
Frankly, my favorite type of celeb encounters are casual moments. One of my favorites happened last year at Fashion Week when we happened to be strolling down 42nd street and saw Venus and Serena Williams getting out of a Chevy Suburban (the new limo). Venus somehow broke the heel on her pumps; Serena as sisters will do couldn't stop laughing. Thank goodness for assistants; one found her another pair and off they went. Cute.
No such encounters yet. I did bump, literally, into tennis legend Boris Becker last night. Those eyes! That boy is big with a capital B. Sorry, no photo. The moment was over before I had the presence of mind to whip out my trusty camera. But stay tuned. The week is young.

Nigel was at a bunch of shows Wednesday including Perry Ellis and BCBG.

I loved the his and hers pinstripe outfits Ivana wore with her boyfriend. Hey, why not?
Tennis star Martina Hingis.
Hingis showed up at BCBG. Of course the US Open is also happening in New York so it will be interesting to see which tennis stars start to show up at shows as they get bounced from the tournament.

So here was this hilariously catty whispered conversation happening behind me as we all watched Mr. Jay do his thing for E!
Person A: "Do you think he's had work done?"
Person B: "Oh, of course!"
Person C: "Maybe not. I mean, if you were going to have your nose done, wouldn't you have it fixed all the way?"
Ouch! Will someone please pass the Meow Mix?

We later spotted Miss Snow strolling down 5th Avenue with her faux-hawked boyfriend. Awwww.

It's funny how we always see Carrie at Fashion Week. I've never seen any of the other winners make an appearance, though maybe Fantasia will since she's appearing these days on Broadway. But we give Miss Underwood (and her handlers) some props for being fashion friendly!

Here's a star who always keeps it real. A lot of celebs won't talk to the "regular" folks as they get led to their seats. Not Miss Eve. We love that in our celebs.
